Is your child's weight in jeopardy!
Like it or not this question many parents hesitate to answer, they start counting the type of occasions when they allow their child to eat junk food
Marketing Obesity: often we get sold out to the commercial tv ads..(how i wish, i could name them) If your child is not eating food (veggies ,fruits etc) so here we offer an wholesome thing to fit in your child need. it comprises of vit A, minerals,iron blah blah blah!!! goes the comercial ads taken up by celebrity moms(I wonder if they do this to their own child).
Easy acess to junk food in school,(though the government have issued notices to various government departments and agencies following an NGO's petition that sought a ban on the sale of junk food and carbonated drinks in and within a 500-yard radius of educational institutions) but still some parents prefer schools,preschool which provide meals to them.(When you have a sumptuous junk meal rich in oil, you feel drowsy and fail to concentrate)

OBESITY technically speaking it means "Obesity is due to an individual taking in more calories than they burn"
Well how do we acquire it? There are couple of reasons to it
- Heriditary- So as parents one need to check their own health & lifestyle
- Poor choice of food- Mothers want their child to be well fed, now what is the definition of welll fed does it mean Feeding them every two hour feed your child every two hours or then maybe feed them like toddler, mashed food which can hold lot of quantity and goes down the throat easily!which may make them look cute and chubby but its an indication to unhealthy lifestyle)
- Feeding them with food wich increases their weight: I am often told "you dont feed your child right,look at her she is so thin and fragile" so I understand I have to feed her with something that increases her weight or How is it possible for a child to become fat if she eats balanced diet which include colourful vegetables and fruits?
- Lack of excercise: Now a days physical activites are being replaced with indoor plays, look up the internet and one would find endless activity classes for kids and some of them would offer educational activites on personalized mini tabs. Unlimited internet has locked up kids at home and parks around your home are desserted.

Eat with your child: Your child will do what you do, eat what you want your child to eat. Encourage healthy eating habits by chosing right food.

Tetra pack juices are considered healthy than fresh fruit juices ,due to food borne illnesses and unhygenic ways to prepare it. Agreed but how does it make tetra pack juices healthy?
There are several ways that children and adolescents can modify their behavior for healthier outcomes, such as:
- Changing eating habits
- Increasing physical activity
- Becoming educated about the body and how to nourish it appropriately
- Engaging in a support group activity and setting realistic weight management goal
